What are everyone's opinions on this?
Do you think he will be a success?
I think Beckham has gone to America for money, not for the football. He will be seen over there as a celebrity not a footballer, which is a shame really to football in general. I hope he does well in improving the popularity of football in the U.S.A!

aye your right Danny, his fitness will go down playing for a team like that apparently there level of football is equal to our lowel leagues !! he should have signed for City then

i hope he makes football more popular but its obvious he's going for the money. but its a bit harsh on the other players in the team though, cause beckham's there getting like millions, but then some of his team mates get as low as £12,000 a year which is kinda bad. also, LA galaxy will only be known for having David in the squad, it won't be known for the other players who play for them, which again is harsh on the players.
