| Well not really, the evidence is in the table. Vojvodina were only three points from Partizan, which isn't a lot really is it? A lot of people compare the Serbian league with the Scottish league (Red Star + Partizan = Celtic + Rangers) | |

| Yes but to be honest you could compare the Serbian League with the SPL because its only Red Star and Partizan who win it and maybe the odd year someone else might win it. | |

Aberdeen were the last team to win the SPL, or First Division as it was known at the time and this was in 1985. Hearts tend to be Scotland's third biggest team and split up Celtic and Rangers in 2005/06 and this was the first time it had happened in about 12 years. Anyway, in conclusion, I presume that like the SPL, in Serbia the teams outside Red Star and Partizan aim to be the third biggest club.

Are Red Star and Partizan the richest teams in the country? This is why Celtic and Rangers are the most successful and this is why the dreaded 'Old Firm' tag came in.

Technically, you're wrong. Queen's Park have the second biggest stadium which is Hampden, the national stadium. However, if you include other sporting stadiums, Murrayfield can seat around 68,000 - 70,000 making it the largest general sporting stadium. There has been many rumours that Celtic's main stand, which only holds 8,000, will be increased to the same size as the North Stand which is Britain's biggest football stand holding 27,000. Celtic Park's capacity would therefore increase to just below 80,000. Hampden is an awful stadium though. It is the national stadium and is worse than both Celtic Park and Ibrox to watch a match. When you look at Wales' efforts with the Millenium Stadium, a country which has a smaller area and smaller population, Hampden is nothing short of an embarrassment. Anyway, I can't say I've ever been to Hampden to watch Queen's Park play, but to see 600 seats taken in a stadium capable of a figure around 53,000, isn't a pretty sight for sure. That is barely 1% of seats taken. Also... Queen's Park = Division 3 Queen Of The South = Division 1

But Hampden is the second biggest football stadium in Scotland. Queen Of The South play at the South of Scotland, near the border... Queen's Park play at Hampden, Glasgow in Scotland's West...
